New Delhi: A fire erupted at a private eye hospital in the Paschim Vihar area of west Delhi on Tuesday morning, officials reported. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as all occupants were safely evacuated from the building.
The Delhi Fire Services received a call about the incident at 11:35 am. The fire broke out on the second floor of Eye Mantra Hospital, according to a fire department official.
Six fire tenders have been deployed to the scene and are currently working to extinguish the blaze, the official confirmed.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing smoke billowing from the hospital building, causing panic among staff and patients. The hospital management swiftly implemented fire safety protocols, leading to the safe evacuation of everyone inside.
