Indore: A 20-year-old Hindu girl who was raped by love jihad from the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh tried to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills in Jabalpur district court. The victim alleged that already married Naseem Ahmed became an Ankit Thakur and implicate her in love and raped her. Now the family members of the accused are threatening her to change her statement in court. According to the report, the accused Naseem Ahmed had trapped the victim in a love trap by giving his name as Ankit Thakur. Naseem raped her after she was caught in the trap of false love
He forcibly taught the victim Kalama to forcibly convert the girl. The victim has lodged a complaint against the accused and is now in jail. The incident of an attempt by the victim to commit suicide took place on Friday, November 19. The court was scheduled to hear the complaint filed by the victim against the accused on that day. The victim, therefore, had to record her statement in the court under Section 164 of the CPRC against the accused Naseem. However, fed up with the threats from the family members of the accused before the hearing, the victim tried to commit suicide by taking a sleeping pill. Her friend and others rushed her to Victoria Hospital in an unconscious state, where her health is still stable.
The victim lives in Adhartal Housing Board Colony in the Adhartal police station area of Jabalpur. She met accused Naseem Ahmed at a friend's birthday party. During that time, Naseem had concealed his real name and introduced himself as Ankit Thakur. He also lied to the victim about his marriage and lured her into his trap by giving her a marriage trap. The accused then raped the victim and also made a video of the same. The victim came to know from her friends after a few days that what she considered Ankit was actually Naseem Ahmed. She then came to know that she had fallen prey to love jihad. According to the victim, the accused had also forcibly taught her Kalama. Kalama is taught to convert to Islam.
