Harda: Farmer-Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel recently said, "Farmers will be provided with adequate amount of water for the moong crop." With this, he says, 'Water will be released into the canals from the Tawa Dam. Apart from this, water should not be allowed to flow in the drains, it should be lifted and released in the canals so that maximum water can be available for irrigation to the farmers. In fact, on Sunday, Shri Patel was addressing the meeting of District Water and Utilities Committee for irrigation from Tawa Dam for moong crop in Harda District Panchayat auditorium.

During this time, he was told by the irrigation department in the meeting that 'the district had got water available for 50 thousand hectare land for moong crop last year. In Harda district, 28 thousand hectares of land was received for irrigation. Water was received for 60 days last year. 65 to 70 thousand hectares of land can be irrigated this year. After knowing this, Agriculture Minister Mr. Patel said, 'Harda and Hoshangabad district will have water available for equal amount of irrigation.' After he said this, a consensus was reached in the meeting and it was decided on the basis that water would be released into the canals through the Tawa Dam from 23 March. MLA Timarni Sanjay Shah, District Officer and Public Representative were present in this meeting. With this, Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel said, "There will be no shortage of beautification of Gupteshwar Temple in Harda."

On the same Sunday, he performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Paver block work in the Gupteshwar temple premises of Harda city. During this, Mr. Patel said, “Gupteshwar Temple is a symbol of faith of the people of Harda city. A new bridge will be constructed for movement in the temple premises, in which the facilities for movement of vehicles and public will be different. During this time, senior and distinguished social workers of Harda city were present in the program.
