Madhya Pradesh: Kamal Nath takes oath as 18th CM in presence of veteran opposition leaders

Just days after Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh elected them with a majority; Congress' Ashok Gehlot took oath as Rajasthan Chief Minister while Sachin Pilot was sworn in as the Deputy CM of Rajasthan. Other CM-designates, Kamal Nath  also took oaths in their respective states the presence of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and other dignitaries .

Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other leaders including Farooq Abdullah and Sharad Yadav arrived for oath ceremony of Kamal Nath as Madhya Pradesh’s 18 th Chief Minister. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu were also present.

From the opposition parties Former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Babaulal Gaur were also present. 

Meanwhile, Sambit Patra, BJP stated that Rahul Gandhi should resign as Congress' chief. Kamal Nath ji's name crops up along with affidavit & evidence in a report submitted to Nanavati Commission. He added that a man involved in anti-Sikh riots has been made the MP CM. Mr Rahul Gandhi must expel him from the party.
