After the death of his father, Rahul was taking responsibility of his sister. He had booked a marriage garden to ensure that there was no stone unturned in the wedding. Rahul had bought a Honda Shine motorcycle to give to his future brother-in-law. When the marriage procession reached the marriage garden, the groom refused to take a Honda Shine motorcycle and demanded an Apache bike. Rahul explained that he had bought the motorcycle according to his ability, so please accept it. However, the groom and his family members stuck to the demand for an Apache motorcycle.

Rahul folded his hands in front of the groom Monu and his family and tried to explain a lot. However, no one agreed. Due to this, there was a scuffle. The groom, along with his family members, assaulted Rahul. After that, the groom fled from the marriage garden along with his procession. The bride sat alone. Later, Rahul Kushwah reached Bahodapur police station and informed the police about the whole incident and filed a case against the groom Monu Kushwah, father Guddu Kushwah, mother Gopi Kushwaha, and brother Gulshan Kushwah under legal sections including dowry act.
