Narsinghpur: Even though Gandhi hats may have been absent on the heads of leaders claiming to be followers of Mahatma Gandhi, there is a school in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh where children come to school with Gandhi hats remembering Bapu. Not only that, these children also sing the praises of Mahatma Gandhi's beloved hymn Raghupathi Raghav Rajaram regularly during prayer.

Narsinghpur is 10 kms away from the district headquarters of Takriban, Singhpur's big village. The view of the official secondary school in this village is different from that of other schools, as every child here has a Gandhi hat on his head. Each child studying here wears Gandhi hat on his head.

School teacher Sandeep Sharma has reported that there is no documentary evidence, but a date on the wall indicates that Mahatma Gandhi visited the village on October 3, 1945. The message on the wall is also written of the same date. It says, "I will do my best to observe the whole of truth and non-violence, the blessings of Bapu."
