Vijayanagar: Rohit Sharma, who was playing as an opener for the Indian Board President's XI in a practice match against South Africa, was dismissed without opening an account. On Saturday, Rohit could play only two balls on the last day of the three-day practice match. Rohit started his first innings with Mayank Agarwal in red ball cricket and became the victim of fast bowler Vernon Philander.

Rohit Sharma was caught by Henrik Klassen off Philander. Rohit Sharma, who played an opener in India's ODI team, has been playing in the middle order for the country in Test cricket, but due to the poor performance of Lokesh Rahul, the team management started the Test series against South Africa from October 2.

Rohit has played 27 Tests for India so far, in which Rohit Sharma has scored a total of 1585 runs. This includes three centuries and 10 half-centuries. While Rohit Sharma's record in ODIs is tremendous, Rohit has played a total of 218 ODIs, in which he has scored a total of 8686 runs. Which includes 27 centuries and 42 half-centuries.
