Madhya Pradesh: After the death of the corona-infected husband in Raisen district, his wife decided to do his last rites. Due to the lockdown, no relative was able to reach the spot, after which the wife reached with the dead body of her husband and offered fire. Corona suspect Amit Agarwal died on Friday in Bhopal's Hamidia Hospital. He used to run the Tiffin Center in Raisen along with his father. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday due to deteriorating health.

The wife of the deceased works in Varsha Cooperative Bank. After receiving information about her husband's death, she decided to cremate her husband. Amit's brother has also been admitted to Hamidia Hospital due to corona. Both his children are in Bhopal. Varsha asked for permission to take the body home, but the hospital refused because the corona investigation was not completed. After this Varsha along with her friend and her father took the dead body to the cremation ground. Where Varsha lit her husband. It is said that Amit used to run Tiffin Center in Raisen with his father Sukhlal Aggarwal. During the lockdown, he used to provide food to the needy. But when he was tested corona positive, the contract was withdrawn from him. Six colleagues working with Varsha have been quarantined. Four nurses, a ward boy, dresser and security personnel who came in contact with the deceased in the hospital have also been quarantined.
