Bhopal: Sewa Bharati has demanded strict action on the issue following an announcement from the mosque not to get corona vaccine at Nasrullahganj in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. Sewa Bharati has written to the Sectional Officer (SDM) of Nasrullahganj urging him to take stringent steps in the matter.

In a letter to SDM, Sewa Bharati said that on the one hand, the vaccination campaign to fight corona is being celebrated as a festival. On June 23, an incident has come to light where the mosque announced not to get the vaccine. According to the letter, the vaccination drive was being carried out at Urdu Medium School on June 23. But then it was announced from the mosque that people should not get the corona vaccinated. According to news reports, the announcement was made not once, but 3 times, from the mosque. This was followed by a stir in the entire city including the locality. The announcement was heard not only by the people of the Muslim locality but also by people from many houses in the locality.

Three days after the incident, Sewa Bharati wrote to SDM. Terming the act as a criminal act, he said that on the one hand, they are motivating people from door to door for vaccination and on the other hand such things are happening. The organization demands strict action in this regard so that such incidents do not take place further.
