Bhopal: Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh has extended the lockdown in the state till June 15. Announcing this, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that schools and colleges will open in the state, but a final decision on this will be taken only after June 13. The lockdown is being extended for 15 days, given the threat of Corona. The Government of Madhya Pradesh has taken this decision at a time when the number of infected in the state has reached 7645. In the last 24 hours 192 new cases of corona infection have been reported. So far, 334 patients have died due to corona in the state. 4269 people have recovered.

Besides Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Burhanpur, Khargone, Khandwa and Barwani in the state, all the remaining districts are in the Green Zone and markets have been opened with conditions everywhere. Sports activities in the state are also starting from June 1. At the same time, Sagar district has become a new hot spot in the state. On Friday, 24 new cases have been found. Among them 16 Sadar, 4 Madhiya Vittal Nagar, Makronia, Motinagar, Civil Line and Subedar ward have been found infected. With this, 165 people have been found infected in the city so far. The maximum of these 92 are from Sadar. At the same time, one person died on Friday. So far 8 people have died in the district from Corona.

At the same time, former CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath has demanded the state government to open all religious places from June 1. Kamal Nath has tweeted that the government of Madhya Pradesh should take a decision to open religious places of all religions in the state from June 1, like Karnataka and West Bengal. Decide in this regard by following the necessary parameters. He said that liquor shops can be opened even in lockdown, so why religious centers of faith of common citizens are still closed?
