BHOPAL - MADHYA PRADESH: Bhopal is hosting the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, - February 24-25, a major event aimed at attracting business and investment to the state. The summit will welcome delegates from 60 countries, including 13 ambassadors, 6 high commissioners, and many consul generals. This event will highlight Madhya Pradesh’s potential for investment and industrial growth.
A Platform for Business and Investment
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that GIS-2025 will bring together top industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and experts to discuss business opportunities in the state. Madhya Pradesh is offering new investment prospects in key sectors like textiles, manufacturing, renewable energy, healthcare, food processing, start-ups, finance, and tourism.
The summit will feature industry experts sharing insights on economic development and business expansion. A policy-driven investment model will be introduced, with over 20 business-friendly policies unveiled to guide investors. Special sessions will focus on sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, electric vehicles (EVs), and renewable energy, allowing direct discussions between business leaders and government officials.
Showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s Strengths
For the first time, the Make in MP initiative will be integrated into the summit, showcasing the state’s manufacturing capabilities and growing role in the global supply chain. The event aims to establish Bhopal as an industrial hub and support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and start-ups. Investors will connect with local businesses, helping them expand nationally and internationally. Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed, creating job opportunities in sectors like IT, manufacturing, electronics, and biotechnology.

Textiles & Manufacturing: Industry leaders such as TWE OBT, AEPC, RSWM Ltd, Sekhani Group, and Pratibha Synthetics will explore investment and expansion opportunities.
Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals: Executives from Sejana & Medical Technologies, Sun Pharma, Involution Healthcare, Bio-Merieux India, and Ipca Laboratories will discuss the growth of the healthcare sector in MP.
Renewable Energy & Green Tech: Companies like Tata Power, ReNew Power, Jindal, and Greenko will highlight investment in sustainable energy.
Agriculture & Food Processing: Experts from ITC, PepsiCo India, Green Grain, and IFC World Bank will discuss business prospects in the agriculture industry.
Start-ups & Innovation: Entrepreneurs from Inoguru, mCaffeine, Start-up Middle East, and Save will explore new opportunities in MP’s start-up ecosystem.
Finance & Investment: Investors from Beams Fintech, Unicorn India Ventures, ITI Growth Fund, and Dun & Bradstreet India will discuss the state’s business-friendly policies.
Tourism & Hospitality: Executives from Taj Hotels, Wonderla Holidays, and adventure tourism experts will talk about investment in MP’s tourism sector.
The summit will see participation from international diplomats, including ambassadors from Nepal, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Burkina Faso, and high commissioners from Rwanda, Seychelles, Jamaica, Lesotho, and Uganda. Representatives from countries like Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Malaysia, the UK, Poland, the Netherlands, and Canada will also attend.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has been actively promoting investment through industry conclaves across India and roadshows in the UK, Germany, and Japan. His efforts have created a strong platform for attracting global businesses to Madhya Pradesh.
GIS-2025 will strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s position as a preferred investment destination. A delegation from the World Bank, led by Country Director Auguste Tano Kouamé, along with experts in infrastructure and digital transformation, will play a key role in the summit. Organizations like JETRO (Japan), German Trade & Invest, Invest Ottawa, Austrade, and Matrade will also participate, with support from international business chambers such as IGCC, SICCI, ICCK, IPCCI, and IDCC.
High-level delegations from Russia and Zimbabwe will attend, with Germany, Japan, and the UK as key partner nations. Discussions with Canada are ongoing for mutual economic collaboration. This summit marks a major step in Madhya Pradesh’s journey to becoming a global business hub.
