Ahmedabad: The doors of Dwarkadhish temple in Gujarat opened on midnight of November 23, 2022. Because with Mahadev, 25 cows walked 450 kilometers to reach there. According to the report, this is the first time that the doors of the temple were opened at midnight. Special darshan arrangements for cows have also been made for perhaps the first time. According to the report, Mahadev Desai had come from Kutch to Dwarka with these cows. He did this after his vow was fulfilled. He had prayed for cows to recover from the lumpy disease. The lumpy virus has caused havoc in many states including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. According to the report, more than 60 thousand cows have died due to this virus.

Mahadev Desai's cows reached Dwarka and first saw Lord Dwarkadhish. circumambulated the temple. Thereafter, the owner as well as the cows ate prasad. The people present there arranged water as well as fodder for the cows. Mahadev Desai's gaushala, a resident of Kutch, had suffered from the lumpy virus about two months ago. Seeing his cows in this condition, Mahadev had asked Lord Dwarkadhish for a vow that if they recovered, he would come to them with these cows.

By the way, Mahadev reached Dwarka with cows on Wednesday (November 23, 2022). But during the day, thousands of people are crowded to see Dwarkadhish Lord. In such a situation, if cows were allowed to enter the temple, the system could have deteriorated. Therefore, the temple committee met and decided that the doors will be opened for the darshan of cows at 12 o'clock at night. Mahadev says that when the cow suffered from a lumpy infection, he asked Lord Dwarkadhish for a vow and left everything to him, and started treating the cows. He said, ''The cows started getting better after a few days. After about 20 days, all 25 cows became completely healthy. Not only this, the Lumpy virus infection did not spread to other cows in the gaushala as well. After his complete recovery, I took him and left for Dwarka from Kutch on foot.''
