Mumbai: A son brutally killed his own mother for property in the country's financial capital Mumbai. There was a property dispute between the mother and son for a long time and the matter had reached the court. The incident took place in Mumbai's Juhu area, where a 43-year-old son killed his 74-year-old mother over a property dispute and also disposed of the body near Matheran hill station. The police have now arrested the son accused of murder.
Juhu police on Wednesday recovered the body of the deceased Bina Kapoor from a ditch on the neral-Matheran road, an official said. Sachin Kapoor, son of the deceased woman, with the help of his domestic helper, beat his mother to death with a baseball bat on Tuesday morning and disposed of the body, the official said.
Now the police have arrested the son accused of murder as well as his domestic helper. The police officer said that the unemployed teacher Sachin Kapoor and his mother were fighting a case over the property in court. Police are investigating the matter further.
