Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, last night, some strongmen created a ruckus at a wedding with the help of weapons. They beat up the baraatis with sticks, bars, and rods and also smashed the groom's car. The girl's side alleges that this took place in the presence of the police. On the complaint of the victim's family, the police have registered a case and detained four youths and they are also being interrogated.

The incident took place in the Indira Nagar police station area. The procession reached the bride's door. Then suddenly the local strongmen attacked and started beating them. The girl's side sought the help of some policemen present at the spot, but they just kept watching. When the matter came to the notice of the top officials, the local police reached the spot and a complaint has also been lodged. All the accused are residents of the vicinity. The police have to say that all the miscreants involved in this case will be caught soon.

DCP North Qasim Abdi said that on the basis of the complaint given by the family, four people have been identified and detained. Strict action is going to be taken against all of them. The license of the person who arrived with the weapon will also be canceled. At the same time, on this assault in the presence of the police, the DCP says that on the basis of preliminary information, the soldiers reached the spot. It is also being investigated.
