Pune: A bulldozer has been fired at the illegally built Tipu Sultan memorial in Maharashtra's Dhule district. In fact, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) had complained that the local MLA of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Farooq Anwar Shah had built an illegal memorial of Tipu Sultan in Dhule's chowk. Following the complaint, the memorial was removed.
According to the report, AIMIM MLA Farooq Anwar Shah had constructed an illegal memorial of Tipu Sultan just in the middle of 100 feet road in Dhule. The BJYM unit of Dhule had written a letter to Home Minister and state Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis demanding the removal of the memorial. Along with this, a letter was also sent to the Superintendent of Police and the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Dhule. After receiving a complaint in this matter, the authorities have given instructions to take action. In Dhule city, the Municipal Corporation has constructed a 100-feet road from D-Mart to bypass highway in the past.
There is also a large amount of traffic here. Here, Farooq Abdullah, MLA of Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM, built a memorial of Tipu Sultan. Rohit Chandode of BJYM, along with his colleagues, had complained about the memorial, saying that Tipu Sultan's memorial has been illegally built in the middle of 100 feet road, which should be removed. In the letter, BJYM also demanded action against MLA Farooq Shah. After which the administration removed the monument by taking bulldozer action, however, clear information about what action has been taken on the MLA has not been revealed yet.
