Mumbai: Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Devendra Fadnavis has recently said, "There will not be much time in opposition, but will continue to play the role of opposition as long as we are in opposition". He said these things while releasing the book 'Year-long account' of the Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, Pravin Darekar. If you all remember, in the past, he had spoken on the good success of the BJP in the elections of Gram Panchayats in Maharashtra.

During that time he had said, 'BJP has emerged as the largest party in these elections. Now we have to show great things. As long as they are in opposition, the idea of power should not be brought to mind. Only the person sitting at the end has to act as a voice.' Along with this, he had also criticized the Uddhav government in the past. He said tauntingly, "After a few days people will have to go to Delhi and Kolkata to take pictures of the underground metro. Because the underground metro of Mumbai will not be completed. The underground metro passing through the airport from Kulaba was scheduled to be completed by 2021. Now 80 percent of the work of this metro has been stopped because the work of the Metro Crash in Aarey Colony has been stopped. Due to this, the people of Mumbai may now have to go to Delhi or Kolkata to get a photo of the underground metro.'

The work of the Metro Crash proposed by the Fadnavis government in Aarey Colony was stopped only after the Uddhav government took the oath.
