Mumbai: A shocking case has come to light from Khamgaon under Buldhana district of Maharashtra. In fact, when a family was not able to pay 11,000 the hospital bill, the hospital administration took the mangalsutra of the patient's wife. The news of this shameful and painful news has caused a lot of anger among the locals over the hospital administration.

During the corona epidemic, there are many private hospitals which have been constantly complaining that patients are being arbitrary there. Another gruesome example has been reported in Maharashtra. The patient had 11,000 rupees less when the patient was billed at this private hospital in Khamgaon, Buldhana. The hospital administration made it clear to the relatives of the patient that the patient would not be discharged unless Rs 11,000 was arranged and deposited at the cash counter of the hospital. Finally, the patient's wife had to take off the mangalsutra from her throat and hand it over to the hospital administration. The patient's father has expressed displeasure over the incident. According to him, the daughter-in-law has already pledged her ear ornaments for the treatment of her son. They were worth Rs. 28,000, but taking advantage of the compulsion, the buyer paid only Rs. 23,000. The son was about to be discharged from the hospital.

But when the hospital administration calculated, we were asked to pay another Rs. 11,000. The patient's father said the hospital administration said they would not discharge his son without paying. He then took off the mangalsutra from his daughter-in-law's throat. Since our son was in his hospital, the daughter-in-law had no choice but to hand over the Mangalsutra to the hospital. In these words, the patient's old father revealed to the public the example of the helpless state of a poor family and the inferiority of the hospital administration.
