Mumbai: A case has come to light in Maharashtra's Kalyan district that has strained relationships. Here, a 16-year-old minor girl was raped by her own father and brother. The incident took place in the Kalyan Kolsewadi police station area. Following the complaint, the police have registered a case under the POCSO Act against the accused father and son.

According to the victim's mother and neighbours, the 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her father and brother. The case has been registered at Kolsewadi police station with the help of people. For the last five to six months, the victim's father and brother had been continuously torturing the girl. The girl informed the police about the incident that took place with her after the assault. The police have arrested the accused after registering a case. The victim lives with her father and brother in the Kolsewadi police station area. Whereas, her mother and sister live in a village in UP. 

Some boys had come to the victim's house, made tea for them, so her father got angry. It is alleged that the father, enraged by this, raped and assaulted her and the girl told the people in the neighbourhood about it. So they immediately took the girl to the Kolsewadi police station. The girl told the whole incident in front of the police. Following the complaint, the Kolsewadi police on Saturday registered a case of POCSO Act, molestation and rape against her father and brother and arrested the accused.
