New Delhi: After the ongoing political tussle in Maharashtra, the hearing is going to be held in the Supreme Court today. Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress have filed a petition to quash the Governor's decision. In the Supreme Court, a bench of 3 judges Judge NV Ramanna, Judge Ashok Bhushan and Judge Sanjeev Khanna will hear the matter. If Mukul Rohtagi will give his arguments in the court from the BJP, then Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi will put their side for the opposition.
The apex court will start hearing from 11.30 am on Sunday on the petition of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress against the sudden swearing of the BJP-led government in Maharashtra on Saturday morning. The Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress reached the top court on Saturday evening and appealed to the new government to direct them to prove their majority within 24 hours.
The party, which has broken ties with the BJP, has requested the Supreme Court to hear the petition tonight in this case, that the Maharashtra government should be directed to prove its majority within 24 hours to stop the horse trading. The petition has been accepted and the time has been set for hearing at 11.30 am on Sunday.
