Mumbai: New diseases are emerging amid the corona havoc. The disease that people are currently suffering from is called mucomycosis. In fact, two days ago in Surat, 40 mucomycosis patients had come to the fore and 8 of them had to take their eyes out to save their lives. At the same time, some patients are said to have been reported in North Maharashtra and Vidarbha region. Just last Monday, 10 mucomycosis patients were reported from Chandrapur and all of them are currently undergoing treatment.

More than 30 mucomyosis patients are said to be undergoing treatment at KEM and Global Hospital in Mumbai. Now, realizing the seriousness of mucomycosis, the State Government has included it in the Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. Recently, the State Health Minister has said this. Now, the state government's decision has brought a big relief to corona patients and patients suffering from mucomyosis after recovering from corona.

Let me tell you that with the inclusion of this disease in the Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, patients will now be able to get financial assistance through this medium and the disease can be treated free of cost. Let us also inform you that the treatment of mucomyosis is very expensive, which is difficult for ordinary patients to afford. That is why the Thackeray government has taken this decision.
