Mumbai: The havoc of corona is increasing day by day in Maharashtra. Night curfew and weekend lockdown sit here till April 30. In fact, amidst all this, State Health Minister Rajesh Tope has made a shocking statement. Recently, Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said, "We do not have enough vaccine doses available at various immunization centers, we have to send people back due to lack of dosage.'' At the same time, Rajesh Tope also said, "We have demanded from the Centre that people from 20 to 40 years of age should also be given corona vaccine doses on a priority basis. Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, and other parts of the state are working to increase the number of beds. The state produces 12 MT of oxygen per day and the state receives 7 tonnes of oxygen per day. We are demanding a supply of medical oxygen from the nearest States. If necessary, we have to close down the industries where oxygen is used.''

At the same time, Health Minister Rajesh Tope further said, "The per-dose price of Remdesivir drug used for the treatment of corona, ranges from 1100 to 1400. We also need a large quantity of Remdesivir medicine, corona in the state consumes 50,000 doses of this medicine.''

At the same time, Rajesh Tope also said, "At present, there are 14 lakh vaccine doses in Maharashtra which will be eliminated in the next three days. We have asked for 40 lakh vaccine doses every week. We are not saying that the Centre is not giving the vaccine, but the pace of giving is very low. No one should play politics in the face of the corona crisis, the Chief Minister had appealed to the people on the strictness that has been taken now.'' 10,030 new cases have been reported in Mumbai in the last 24 hours, while 31 people have died.
