According to the news agency PTI, a minister in Maharashtra has also been hit by Corona. A health officer gave information about the minister being corona positive. The minister is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai. However, the agency has not revealed the name of the minister. However, Thursday was the most frightening day for Maharashtra in terms of infection cases. In a single day, the number of infected people reached 6,427 with 778 new cases.

14 more people died due to Coronavirus in Maharashtra on Thursday, with the number of people who lost their lives in the state has reached 283. According to the news agency PTI, 478 new cases were reported in Mumbai alone on Thursday, with the number of infected in the metropolis has reached 4,232. So far 168 people have died due to this virus in Mumbai. In Thane, the number of infected has reached 542 with 42 new cases. 104 new cases were reported in Pune, with the number of infected in the district has been 985.

Even after the lockdown, around 500 Corona positive cases are coming to the state every day for the last few days. However, there are some relief reports as well. According to Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, on Wednesday, 150 patients were discharged in a single day in the state.  26 patients are recovered. The number of people discharged from the hospital after recovering from Kovid-19 in the state is also 13 percent. People between the age of 91 to 100 years are also included in the recovery. The death rate due to corona has come down from seven to five. There were 14 hotspots in the state in the initial phase, which has now reduced to five.
