Mumbai: Heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in Maharashtra. At present, people to cattle are flowing in the water. Things are getting dangerous day by day. The incessant rain here for several days has left people shocked. Due to incessant rains, terrible accidents have taken place in Sangri, Satara, Ratnagiri, Raigad, Kolhapur and Thane and 149 people have died so far. Yes, so far 149 people have lost their lives in these incidents in the State.

At the same time, 34 teams from NDRF have reached everywhere for relief and rescue operations and are engaged in their work. However, traces of wastage can be clearly seen after rains and floods. The Relief and Rehabilitation Department of the state says that a total of 1.35 lakh people have been evacuated from the flood-affected areas till last Sunday morning. In addition, 53 people have been injured and 999 are missing so far in separate accidents. The Indian Army has set up a Central War Room to carry out relief and rescue operations in coordination with the Air Force and the Navy.

It has been named Operation Varsha 21 of the operation and the three services will work closely with the local administration and the state disaster management department. At present, the state is facing flood like situation due to incessant rains. Rain and landslides have killed 149 people in the last few days. 34 teams of NDRF are engaged in relief operations in the state.
