In fact, the Government of Maharashtra has decided to reopen schools in areas where no active COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last month. School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has recently informed about the same. In fact, Varsha Gaikwad says that schools have been allowed to resume offline classes for students of classes 8 to 12 from July 15.
In addition, Varsha Gaikwad has also stated, "Schools are being opened in Maharashtra from 15th July 2021. Students from 8th to 12th standard will be called to the school and offline classes will be conducted. She further said, "It is the need of the hour. We have to go with a co-educational approach so that we can reach out to the last child of the state who cannot access online classes.'' In fact, Varsha Gaikwad shared the government order on Twitter. The order said all teachers and staff members will have to take the corona vaccine before the school reopens.
At the same time, Varsha Gaikwad said, "Corona vaccination of all teachers and non-teaching staff in the respective schools should be done as a priority before the school starts. Strict adherence to corona prevention is essential for all," he said. No negligence will be tolerated in view of the possibility of a third wave. At the same time, the School Education Minister has also clarified that "At present, schools are being opened only in areas/villages which are corona free. Where not a single case of corona infection has come up in the last month. One of them is Jaya village where schools will open from July 15. No corona patient has been found in Jaya village for the last month.''
