A 23-year-old woman was left heartbroken after her husband brought street food, despite the fact that she had cooked a meal at home. After a quarrel with her husband, the woman allegedly consumed poison and died.

According to police, Pratiksha Saravade married Gahininath Saravade (33) of the Ambegaon region in 2019 and the pair used to have regular fights over domestic issues.

Last Friday, the man brought 'pani puri' to the house without informing his wife, resulting in an argument because she had already cooked the meal. The lady reportedly drank a toxic drug the next day and was brought to a hospital, where she died on Sunday, according to a Bharti Vidyapeeth police official. According to him, the police filed a case of abetment to suicide against her spouse on Monday.
