Friendship, love, and sacrifice, are the three elements of the film 'Maharishi'. Mega Star Mahesh Babu is confident that his upcoming film Maharshi will strike big at the box office. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the film is expected to base on the struggles faced by the farmers in the country.

The shooting of Maharshi is in the last leg and the makers are yet to shoot two songs for the film. As the shooting is in progress, photographs from the sets are advancing its way to the Internet. The leaked photos are going viral around the social media and it has got fans super excited. As of late, three photos of Mahesh Babu wearing formal clothes have been doing the rounds. The actor looks dapper and suave in his look. Word has it that the actor will be playing the role of an NRI, who comes back to his village to support the farmers.

Maharshi was supposed to hit the theatres this April, however, the release got postponed twice. Recently, producer Dil Raju declared that the film will finally hit the theatres on May 9. After Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will collaborate with director Anil Ravipudi, who is riding high on the achievement of F2: Fun and Frustration. An official announcement on the same is yet to be made.
