The winners of the 67 National Film Awards have been announced on Monday. This program has been delayed by about one year due to the corona epidemic. Every year, the National Film Awards program held on 3rd May, though it was postponed due to an epidemic last year. This time there were 461 films in the feature movie category and 220 films in the non-feature film category. South Indian film actor Mahesh Babu's films have also won the national award.

Mahesh Babu's Telugu film 'Maharishi' has received the best choreography award, while natural star Nanny's 'Jersey' was awarded the best regional film award. Naveen Nooli received the National Award for Best Editing for 'Jersey.' Soon after the same announcement, Mahesh Babu put up a special post on social media celebrating success. "#NationalFilmAwards honored and humbled to achieve this prestigious recognition!! #Maharshi will always be special."

The actor further wrote that he was proud of the @directorvamshi to bring the socially relevant story to light. Big thanked the jury, Maharishi, and the entire team of our audience. The Maharishi action-drama film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. In addition to Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh were shown as the main characters while Jagpati Babu, Prakash Raj, Jaysudha, Meenakshi Dixit played a supportive role in the movie.
