Mahindra & Mahindra recently launched a product Mahindra Alturas G4 for its premium customers. The Delhi ex-showroom price of the 4 * 2 wheel variant of this premium SUV has been kept at Rs 26.95 lakh, while its 4 * 4 wheel variant has been priced at Rs 29.95 lakh. which is the company's most expensive SUV ever. The Alturas G4 is based on the latest generation Ssangyong Rexton G4 which will be launched in the Indian market after a new name and many changes. The car first made its debut at the Seoul Motor Show, after which it was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo.

It is to be noted that the Alturas G4 is Mahindra's most expensive SUV till date. This car is being sold in the global market under the name SsangYong Rexton G4. The company has designed the new balanced and matured look and it is being sold in Alturas G4 in India. It will compete with the full-size premium SUV Ford Endeavor and Toyota Fortuner already in the Indian market.

The new Alturas G4 is designed on a new ladder-frame chassis developed by Korean company Ssangyong. The new chassis is designed with higher tensile strength steel than before. The company tested in these many environmental conditions. This chassis is stronger and lighter than ever. The low range gearing feature and go-anywhere capability of this chassis make it different from the rest of the SUVs in the segment.

To make its dashboard premium, the company has given a 9.2-inch high definition touchscreen display, which is the largest among the other cars in this segment.

This system supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play. However, it did not feature in-built maps. It has the second most special features in it. Features like 360 degrees surround camera, cooled front seat and auto opening tailgate have been used for the first time in a car in this segment.
