New standards are going to be implemented in India in April, due to which BS6 vehicles are starting to be launched. Meanwhile, Mahindra & Mahindra will soon launch BS6 Compliant Bolero in India. The updated model of this popular SUV can come with three variants. This car can come in B4, B6 and B6 (O) variants. The new model can be up to Rs 50,000 more expensive than the BS4 model. However, this price will depend on the variant. Currently, this SUV is available in 4 variants. The price of which is between 7.61 Lakhs to 8.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

With this new changes and updates, many changes have been made to its design and features. The new Bolero features a redesigned grille, revised bumpers and new headlamps and revised bumpers. The car has the signature boxy stance as before. This car will be given a dashboard with a new design. Apart from this, steering will also be new in this model. Dual airbags will be provided in this car for safety. Apart from this, speed alert system and anti-lock braking system will be provided in the SUV. For transmission, this car will have a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Also to be noted is that the Bolero was launched about two decades ago in August 2000. The standard Mahindra Bolero is powered by a 2,523cc diesel engine, which generates 62 bhp of power and 195 Nm of torque. The Mahindra Power Plus has a 1,493cc diesel engine, which generates 70 bhp power and 195 Nm torque.
