Vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has launched its flagship motorcycle Mojo with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System). The Mahindra Mojo ABS Ex-showroom has priced at Rs 1.89 lakh. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS. It also has some cosmetic updates. The bike is now available in just one Mojo 300 variant, while the yet available XT and UT variants are closed. Let's know the full details

According to media reports, the styling of the updated Mahindra Mojo 300 with ABS has not changed significantly, but some cosmetic updates have been made. The first bike was provided with a golden double-tube under the fuel tank, which is now replaced by black tubes. Suspension of the bike has also changed. The front of the Mahindra Mojo 300 features upside down (USD) front forks, with telescopic forks on the front of the updated bike. It also does not have LED daytime running lights.

For your information to tell that the mechanical bike is the same as the old model. The Mojo 300 ABS is powered by a 295cc engine that produces 26.3 PS of power and 30Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The same engine is also delivered in Java motorcycles. Booking of Mahindra Mojo with ABS has been started. Not a single Mahindra Mojo has been sold since April 1, 2019. This is largely due to the absence of ABS in the bike, as it is mandatory to have ABS in 125cc and above engine capacity bikes from April 1, 2019. Such bikes cannot be sold without ABS. Now, after joining ABS, it is expected to grow its sales in the coming days. The bike's direct rival in the market is the Bajaj Dominar 400. ABS is also known as the anti-lock braking system. Its main task is to reduce the distance that prevents the bike on the slippery surface. This ensures the safe driving of the vehicle. Having ABS on the bike does not lead to sudden braking and reduces or substantially eliminates the risk of an accident. According to the new safety norms, which will come into effect from April, ABS will be mandatory in all 125cc or more engine capacity bikes.
