Mahindra's New electric car will cost just 70 paise/km

India's only electric car maker, Mahindra launches the new electric car e2o Plus. Price of this new car is 7.46 lakh rupees (ex-showroom, Delhi). Mahindra E2O Plus CitySmart Car after being fully charged can travel up to 140 km. Its maximum speed is 85 km/h. In this car, the company has used the brand new technology.

This car has been given four versions - P2, P4, P6, P8. This car will come with four-color option i.e Coral Blue, Sparkling Wine, Arctic Silver and Solid White. The battery capacity of 48V in the P2, P4 and P6 variants of the car has been given. While its P8 variant comes with 72V battery capacity.

The 48-volt battery will generate 25.5 bhp power and 70 Nm torque. At the same time, the 72-volt battery will generate the power of 40 bhp and the torque of 91 nm. In this car, there are many features such as connectivity to smartphones, advanced entertainment systems, control for driving in hilly areas and reverse charging.  

Mahindra Electric, a maker of electric cars for Mahindra and Mahindra, has said that the cost of running this car is extremely low. According to the company, the cost of running the car is 70 paise per km. Mahindra Electric CEO Mahesh Babu said that Mahindra has strongly believed on sustainable mobility and hence launched this product.
