Mahindra, a well-known name in powerful vehicles in India, has included the option of Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) in the W6 variants of its XUV300. The company has priced it at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new mid-spec XUV300 AMT or Autoshift is about 1.50 lakh rupees cheaper than the company's W8 AMT variant, which was launched in July this year. Like the top AMT model, the XUV300 W6 AMT will be available only in the diesel model and is about Rs 49,000 more expensive than the manual counterpart. Let's know in full detail
For the convenience of the customers, the company has given a 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine in Mahindra XUV 300 AMT, which generates power of 115 Bhp and torque of 300 Nm. Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill Start Assist have been included in this SUV as features.
In the Indian market, the Mahindra XUV AMT competes with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza AMT and Tata Nexon AMT. The price of the Vitara Brezza AMT is between Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 10.42 lakh. Also, the price of Nexon AMT ranges from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 11.01 lakh. In such a situation, the price of XUV 300 is much higher than both of them. At the same time, if we talk about the Hyundai Venue of its segment, then it has a better DCT Automati gearbox than AMT, which is in the petrol model and its price also goes from 9.35 lakh to 11.10 lakh rupees.
