Mahindra has launched the AMT version of its XUV 300 in India. The company has used auto shift technology in its sub-compact SUV. In its W8 and W8 (O), you will get the option of omomete transmission. AmT is included in only diesel variants. This means that you will only get a manual transmission when you buy the petrol variant. In the Indian market, it faces a tough fight with Tata Nexon. The Mahindra XUV300 AMT is powered by a 1497cc diesel engine for power. The engine generates 116 PS maximum power at 3750 rpm and peak torque of 300Nm at 1500-2500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Also in front of the Mahindra XUV300 AMT is the Anti-roll Bar with McPherson Strut. At the rear, the Twist Beam suspension is accompanied by Coil Spring. The Mahindra XUV300 amT has disc brakes at the front and rear. The Mahindra XUV300 AMT's W8 trim is priced at Rs 11.50 lakh. The W8 (O) is priced at Rs 12.70 lakh. The AMT version is rs 55,000 more expensive than manual transmission. The length of the Mahindra XUV300 AMT is 3995 millimeters, the width is 1821 millimeters and the height is 1627 millimeters. Its wheelbase is 2600 millimeters.

 

For your information, Tata Nexon's 1.2-litre Turbocharged Revotron petrol engine generates 110 PS power at 5000 rpm and peak torque of 170Nm at 1750 rpm. On the other hand, the 1.2-litre Turbocharged Revotronq Diesel engine generates 110 PS power at 3750 rpm and peak torque of 260Nm at 1500 rpm. They also offer a 6-speed manual transmission as well as automatic transmission. Tata Nexon has disc brakes in both fronts. In front of the Tata Nexon, independent McPherson has coil Spring with dual-path strut. At the rear, the Twist Beam is accompanied by Coil Spring and Shock Absorber. There is a drum brake at the rear. The base petrol variant of Tata Nexon is priced at Rs 6,58,457, which goes up to Rs 10,29,869 on the Nexon XZ+ with Dual Tone Roof diesel variant. The length of Tata Nexon is 3994 millimeters, width 1811 millimeters, height 1607 millimeters. Its wheelbase is 2498 mm and ground clearance is 209 millimeters.
