Pakistani actress Mahira Khan debuted in Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh Khan in recently released film Raees admits that she is a single mother to a cute 3-year-old son.

Mahira quipped when asked her about balancing between career and being a single mother, "Yes, but it is something which women all across the world do. I do only one film at a time. My first priority is my child. So it’s a lot of hard work . But it can be done. It’s all about choices. Many times I have to let go of good work. Fortunately the work I’ve done has worked for me."

The actress admits the problem of being a single mother specially in country like Pakistan, "Yes, I am an anomaly in my country. I hope in the coming years, there will be more women like me," she said.

Mahira was asked about Aishwarya's confession of feeling guilty to leave her daughter at home, Mahira agreed with Aish and said, "That’s a mother thing. I could be anywhere. But I am thinking of my child. Even now as I talk to you."
