Dehradun: A big news is coming out from Uttarakhand which says that there has been a major reshuffle of IFS officers in the Uttarakhand forest department. In this order, the Chief Conservator of Forests Rajiv Bhartari has been relieved. He will now be replaced by Vinod Kumar as the new PCCF.

Rajiv Bhartari has been made chairman of the Biodiversity Board. While the Chief Conservator of Forests Parag Madhukar Dhakate has been entrusted with the responsibility of chief wildlife guardian. 29 other forest officers have also been transferred. You can see the pictures of the order in the slide above.

On the other hand, state CM Pushkar Singh Dhami promised 24,000 new government posts, free tablets for students and Rs 200 crore relief for the tourism sector, raising a flurry of announcements aimed at countering the Congress and AAP. Rajnath Singh, who was visiting the state, praised him saying, "I was stunned when Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that he had taken 400 decisions on the job in less than four months. According to the BJP, Dhami has already visited almost all the districts of the state.''
