Major Transfers of IAS Officers in Harayana have taken place all over the state, CM Khattar's favourite Ajit Balaji Joshi continues to head HSVP and Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority. The Haryana Government issued major transfer orders this Thursday, September 1st. The CM’s Principal Secretary V Umashankar not only retained his existing responsibilities but also got additional responsibilities in the Power Department and New & Renewable Energy Department.

However, despite the massive transfers, one particular officer despite the ACC orders (headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi) of sending him to Punjab Cadre on his own request, continues to head Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran and Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority.

The HSVP is currently in the process of auctioning land worth thousands of crores across Haryana, the said auction process has been faced with a lot of complaints of favouritism and corruption against the senior officials of HSVP.

Chief Minister Khattar has also received complaints that HSVP sold a plot of over 5 acres in Sector 56, Gurugram to a leading hospital chain for only Rs 80 Crore by HSVP; while the market price of the said plot is over Rs 400 crores. According to sources, the HSVP allegedly gave land in Sector 58, Gurugram worth Rs 300 Crore on the lease of Rs 1 lakh per month. Furthermore, despite serious allegations that have been made against him of corruption and impropriety, the Chief Administrator, HSVP, Ajit Balaji Joshi continues to enjoy the confidence of CM Manoharlal Khattar.
