Islamabad [Pakistan], Mar 29 (NT): Pakistani youngest Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai arrived in her native place late Wednesday night, after spending about six years out of the country.

As Geo TV reported,  Malala Yousafzai's flight- Emirates' EK-614  has landed at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport at 1:41 AM.

During her stay in Pakistan, the 20-year-old world icon is expected to hold peace talks with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and other prominent figures.  In her honor the 'Meet the Malala' programme is being organized as the report said. She will also participate in this event.

The youngest education activist was shot in the head in October 2012 by the Taliban gunmen for dynamically supporting girls' right to education.

In the same year, she had left Pakistan after surviving a shooting attempt by Taliban, as she was returning from school.

She was hit in the head, but survived the attack and was airlifted to the Military Hospital Peshawar, and from here Yousafzai was then shifted to London for further treatment.

At the age of 17, Malala became Nobel Peace Prize laureate for her tremendous contributions and struggle to promote education for children. She shared the prize with Indian Kailash Satyarthi, who is a children's rights activist.
