Malayalam actresses Faced sexual harassment at mall during promoting their film

These days the instances of sexual Harassment is increasing. Recently Two popular Malayalam actresses Saniya Iyappan and Grace Antony were sexually harassed at a mall in Kerala's Kozhikode during a promotional event for their movie Saturday Night.

 According to some viral video and photos of the incident on Twitter, the promotional event at the mall was extremely jam-packed with hundreds pushing each other to get a glimpse of the actors. The security was struggling to handle the crowd. This is not the first time that the mall has come under scanner. In August, it made headlines after the team of Tovino Thomas' 'Thallumaala' was prevented from entering the mall, let alone hold the event.

One of the two actress, Saniya Iyappan sharing the incident, "After the event, I and one of my co-stars were leaving and some guy misbehaved with my colleague, and she didn't even get a chance to see or react because of the rush and the crowd.”

She further added, “After that, I also encountered a similar act of misogyny and I reacted to it in shock as you've watched in the video,” The actress further shared, "I wish no one has to face this kind of unwanted trauma in their life, for violence against women there will be consequences and actions against these misogynistic individuals."

 South actors Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese also attended the promotional event of Saturday Night which is helmed by Rosshan Andrrews. Saniya Iyappan and Grace Antony are the two lead actresses in the film.
