Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) Mamata Banerjee described the BJP as dangerous to the Maoists. Addressing a public meeting in Purulia, she said that the BJP was more dangerous than 'poisonous snakes'. She said that she will now send people to disrupt the BJP and Communist Party (CPIM) meeting.

Mamata Banerjee added, "I have been seeing for a few days that some people are being sent from the BJP to create disturbances in our meeting. Now, I will send some people to disrupt the BJP and CPM meetings." She also said, "Can we not threaten intimidation? CM Mamata once again raised the issue of external. She said that the people of Purulia have never bowed their heads in front of outside forces even before. She attacked the BJP and said it had insulted Birsa Munda.

She said, "A Dalit family said that they fed the BJP leaders who came here with their own expenses, how can we give money? I've asked my workers to give them money whenever they see something like this. If someone gives you money in exchange for a vote, take the money."
