Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has once again accused the central agencies. However, it is imperative to accuse him, as his former minister Partha Chatterjee is in jail for the education recruitment scam, while TMC's stalwart Anubrata Mondal is also imprisoned in the case of cow smuggling. Mamata Banerjee was already hurt by these actions on corruption, and now the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Abhishek Banerjee on Tuesday (August 30) in the coal scam case. In such a situation, it is obvious that Mamata Banerjee will not be happy with the investigating agencies.

CM Mamata has termed the summons from the agencies as 'open violence'. However, it is also worth noting that after TMC won the assembly elections in West Bengal in 2021, many people were murdered, many women were raped, thousands of people fled Bengal to neighbouring states. They went and saved their life. But today Mamata Banerjee, who was calling the investigation agency's summons against corruption open violence, was silent on that gruesome violence. The case of that violence is still pending in the Kolkata High Court and the victims are looking for a way of justice.

According to the media report, Mamata Banerjee said after receiving the summons to her nephew that, 'The summons to the agency is not just politics of vengeance, it is open violence... If I had known that politics would become so dirty, I would have never entered politics.' Not only this, Mamata Banerjee again alleged that the issues of cattle and coal smuggling are the responsibility of the Union Home Ministry and the Central Government.
