Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress (TMC) has been suffering before the West Bengal Assembly elections. At present, TMC suffered two more setbacks when Mamata Banerjee's special and close Suvendu Adhikari left the party. The party's leader Suvendu Adhikari left the party on Thursday and MLA Jitendra Tiwari also resigned from TMC. Seeing the TMC in crisis, CM Mamata Banerjee has come into action and has called an emergency meeting today.

According to the information, West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has called an emergency meeting of the party today. It is being told that after the resignation of Suvendu Adhikari and Jitendra Tiwari, the atmosphere is being created in the entire country including Bengal and the party will brainstorm and formulate a strategy ahead. South Bengal State Transport Corporation (SBSTC) chief Deeptangshu Chaudhary also submitted his resignation to CM Mamata Banerjee on Thursday. In this way, TMC suffered three major setbacks in one day.

Suvendu Adhikari, who opened a front against West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, has also started a barricade against TMC. Mamata Banerjee's party TMC is trying to unite all the leaders who are upset. That is why on Wednesday, a few hours after Suvendu Adhikari resigned as MLA, he met with disgruntled party leaders including MP Sunil Mandal and Asansol Municipal Corporation chief Jitendra Tiwari. What was the subject of discussion in this closed-door conversation has not been revealed so far.
