Kolkata: The results of assembly elections in five states are coming out today, with West Bengal being considered as the most important state. In the trends so far, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress has taken a lead in 214 seats, which seems to be crossing the magic figure of the TMC majority. The BJP is seen as the opposition with a lead of about 77 seats.

Meanwhile, a piece of big news is emerging, Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has won from Nandigram assembly seat, defeating BJP's candidate Suvendu Adhikari by 1200 votes. Earlier, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien tweeted after the results and hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In this post, he mentions a formula.
