Kolkata: After the Morbi bridge accident, the opposition has opened a front against the Modi government of Gujarat and the Center. The opposition is demanding strict action against the culprits of this accident. Meanwhile, West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamta Banerjee has fiercely attacked the Modi government regarding the Morbi bridge accident.

Mamta Banerjee has said that why ED and CBI are not taking action against the accused of the Morbi incident. They only take action against common people. CM Banerjee said that accountability should be fixed for this accident. I will not say anything about the Prime Minister, as this is his home state. I will not say anything regarding politics. I will not comment on this, because people's lives are more important than politics. I express my condolences.

CM Mamta said that many people have lost their lives and many are still missing. Interacting with media persons at Kolkata airport before leaving for Chennai to meet Tamil Nadu CM and DMK chief MK Stalin, CM Mamata Banerjee said that a Supreme Court-monitored judicial commission should be set up to probe the Morbi bridge accident.
