New Delhi: Mamata Banerjee, the West Bengal chief minister and leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), is on a big tour throughout the nation to get a foothold in central politics and is preparing to form a separate front with non-Congress opposition groups. Meanwhile, he detailed the strategy to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to civil society representatives in Mumbai on Wednesday.

"It will be easier to beat the BJP if all regional parties come together," the TMC chief stated. As a result, they've made it apparent that they'll try to link a few more regional parties in the coming days. On Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee met with NCP (NCP) chairman Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray. Mamata Banerjee has already visited Goa, inducting numerous Congress officials into the TMC, including former Chief Minister LouisInho Falerio.

Mamata also gave membership to veteran Bihar Congress politician Kirti Azad and Haryana leader and Rahul Gandhi's special lying Ashok Tanwar during her recent visit to Delhi. Mamata's team now includes JDU's Pawan Verma and erstwhile BJP veteran Yashwant Sinha. As a result, TMC has continually increased the intensity of its campaign. Mamata, on the other hand, has frequently chastised the Congress, accusing it of being weak in the face of the BJP. Abhishek Banerjee, Mamata Banerjee's nephew, has formed a front against the BJP.
