Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abesh Banerjee has joined the doctors' protest on Friday as the protests entered the fourth day. The doctors ' strike was also attended by the nephew of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee himself.

Abesh Banerjee, who was studying at KPC Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, has favoured the doctors ' strike and has joined the strike. It may be noted that earlier on Thursday, the daughter of Kolkata Mayor Firhaad Kekim had also supported the doctors ' strike. His daughter, Sheba Hakim, posted on social media asking doctors to provide security in the hospital at work in West Bengal.

In West Bengal, a strike case of doctors has been intensified after CM Mamata Banerjee's altimatem. It is due to this that 16 more doctors from West Bengal have given their resignation on Friday. All these doctors work at RG Tax Medical College, Kolkata. Thereafter, all the doctors in the country have started the strike.
