This strike will continue until the central government withdraws the CAA law. Mamata Banerjee is continuously protesting against CAA, on Thursday it was Mamta's tenth rally against CAA.

Addressing a gathering at Madhyamgram in West Bengal on Thursday, CM Banerjee said that we are the only party that has been protesting against CAA-NRC since September. Modi government wants to take away the democratic rights of the people. He said that we will not let anyone out of Bengal. Mamata Banerjee has said that our government has authorized a refugee colony in Bengal, the Matua community is being misled by the opposition. He said that BJP is lying to the nation.

Attacking the BJP, Mamata Banerjee has said that the BJP continuously promises to give citizenship to Hindu refugees, but this has not been done in the last five years. On the CAA-NRC issue, Mamata said that why the poor are being raised once again on the streets. We all vote from Panchayat to Lok Sabha elections and are citizens of this country.
