Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee held a press conference on Corona today, in which she also raised the issue of migrant laborers. Mamta Banerjee said that I am happy that the migrant workers are coming back. But I want to ask why are they being packed in trains without social distancing? They are all coming from hotspots… Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi. Therefore, when trains are coming from these places, why can't the railways run more trains, so that some social distancing remains in them.

Mamta Banerjee attacked the railway and said that there is neither food nor water in the train. These migrants are being packed in trains. Sometimes twice as many people are being seated. Taking a dig at the railways, Mamta said whether they want to convert Shramik Express into Corona Express. He said that you have enough capacity. I have also been a Railway Minister, I know. Why are not more trains running. Increase the bogies, the state government will bear the entire expenditure. These migrants are still traveling for many hours in an inhuman condition. If you spread corona like this, then what is meant by keeping the temples and mosques closed.

Along with this, Mamta Banerjee has also announced the reopening of temples and mosques in West Bengal. Mamta Banerjee said in the press conference that religious places in the state will be opened from June 1. But for this there will be some important things which will have to be followed. Mamta has announced that from 1 June all religious places will be opened from 10 am.
