Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has announced that she will contest from Nandigram assembly constituency this time. Her announcement on the ongoing political war between the BJP and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has been in many respects. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee has been contesting from Bhawanipur.

In West Bengal, the assembly elections are proposed this year and the political war is continuing in the state. West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Monday held an election meeting in Nandigram, where she lashed out at the BJP. On behalf of Mamata, it was announced at an election meeting in Nandigram that she wants to contest from here this time. Mamata made the appeal to the state unit president on stage and the decision was made soon. She said that this time too, the TMC government will be formed in Bengal and the TMC will get more than 200 seats.

Mamata Banerjee also attacked the Suvendu Adhikari who joined BJP and said that she did not need to take any knowledge on who carried out the Nandigram agitation. Today, farmers are also agitating and the BJP should withdraw the three agricultural laws immediately.
