Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool President (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has said that she will pass a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Mamta Banerjee is scheduled to rally in Darjeeling on January 22 against the National Citizenship Register (NRC), National Population Register (NPR) and CAA.

Speaking to the media before leaving for Darjeeling, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee said that, 'West Bengal was the first state to pass a joint resolution against the NRC, CAA, and NPR.' CM Mamta further said that earlier it was CAB, now it has become an Act and then CAA has become, we will pass a resolution against it in three-four days.
