Late Friday evening, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted that the lockdown will continue even further with minimal effect. Restoration of essential services will be a top priority. She said that with several crises in the state, we have decided to increase the workforce capacity of the state government from 50 percent to 70 percent. Continuing the restoration of essential services is one of the highest priorities and this workforce growth will ensure that public services continue uninterrupted.

Apart from this, Mamta tweeted one after the other. She further said, 'Even in the private sector, I urge everyone to be safe and work as much as possible inside the house and to the best of their ability. The ability of the workforce to decide and act accordingly lies with the respective management of private institutions.

Let us know that earlier during the press conference on Friday evening, the Chief Minister said that from next June 8, all government and private offices will be allowed to work with 100 percent workforce. He also allowed to open all religious places in the state from June 1, although more than 10 people would not be allowed to visit temples, mosques and gurudwaras at a time. With this, he said that from June 1, work will be done in tea gardens and jute mills with a hundred percent workforce.
